Watching blastbeat videos on YouTube led me back to this viscous classic, which I'll be honest, I haven't heard in a while. The record balances sheer brutality with a tidy, all-encompassing sound, much like what I'd except a warfare-obsessed 1349 to sound like, if I had to make comparisons. Marduk have a long and varied discography, but this always stands out for me.
