Surely one of the most classic rock albums ever, right? The things Alice Cooper has done for the theatrical aspect of rock and metal really cannot be charted or appreciated here in just one review, but Billion Dollar Babies is the perfect example of his (edit: their) early work, balancing the commercial sensibilities of School's Out with the bizarre horror elements that would later be found on Vince's solo stuff like Welcome To My Nightmare.
The bass performance on the title track alone is worth listening for, rumbling away in that classic analogue sound, before bands sought to bury their bass in layers of compression. "I Love The Dead" is one of my favourite tracks ever.
